Responsibilities of the Senior Financial Analyst

For one of our pharmaceutical clients in the region of Turnhout, we are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst. In this role, you will have the following responsibilities:

  • Cash & Risk management (EMEA region): analyzing cash balances and forecast and making appropriate funding
  • Business partnering: be the first contact for EMEA affiliates
  • Provide guidance on capital structure, foreign currency risk, dividend repatriation, investment and debt decisions
  • Measuring compliance with company policies concerning foreign currency hedging, intercompany/third party borrowing and bank account management
  • Cooperate with legal and tax centers to understand the regulatory environment and the restrictions within each country
  • Connect with local & regional bank relations for countries under responsibility

Profile of the Senior Financial Analyst

As a Senior Financial Analyst, you have the following strong suits:

  • Master’s degree in Economics (Master of Applied Economics, Commercial Engineer, MBA …) or equivalent
  • Relevant experience in the financial world or financial markets
  • You are a team player and have a global mindset
  • You are accurate and have strong analytical skills
  • You are flexible, eager to learn, highly motivated, hands on and stress resistant
  • You can express yourself fluently in English
  • Available within a couple of weeks
