About this event

The training consists of 3 modules for both junior consultants with the ambition to start working in a (QC) lab as well as more senior level consultants that would like to deepen their chromatography fundamentals. In the first module, the basic theory of chromatography is discussed with a focus on retention, efficiency, selectivity, Van Deemter, etc. The second module discusses the fundamentals of HPLC (techniques, columns, theoretical considerations). The final module is more advanced and focuses on HPLC method development.

Teacher Biography

Joeri Vercammen derived the training from the course he teaches 3th bachelor science engineers at Ghent University. It tends to be hands-on, pragmatic and with a lot of references to every day practice. If required, the training can be extended to include a troubleshooting session, introduction to LC/MS, QA/QC in daily practice, etc.
