This one-day program with ‘The Impressive Rollercoaster’ is designed for experienced project leaders or people who have already taken a basic course in project management and want extra support in implementing projects.

About this event

This training is practice oriented and game based, and consists of the following content:

  • Executing and following up on a project: the SCRUM framework
  • Managing the expectations of your stakeholders with MSCW
  • The KANBAN board to follow up tasks and to do’s
  • Motivating your project team
  • Lead project meetings
  • Status reports that work
  • 10 principles of a pragmatic project approach

Business game ‘The Impressive Rollercoaster’ focusses on:

  • Governance
  • Making the right choices & setting priorities
  • Crystal-clear communication on the progress of the project
  • Providing insights into problem solving & iterative working

Participants will discover:     

  • The importance of making the right choices & setting clear priorities aligned with strategy
  • The impact of leadership and clear communication on project success
  • The power of working visually to share information (KANBAN)

Teacher Biography

Katia Van Belle and her team already successfully worked on this topic in organizations such as IMEC, KBC, ENGIE Electrabel, Joos Consulting, SBB Accountants, Tourism Flanders, NMBS, ADMB, CM Christelijke Mutualiteit, Delhaize, Colruyt, Beaulieu, Lidl, AXA, Tractebel and many others.

Katia is passionate about learning. She radiates calmness, but also great dynamism. She draws her participants into an inspiring journey of learning, trying and growing. Supportive, challenging, energetic. She worked for ten years as a logistics manager and project leader.

Katia attends several trainings every year to keep growing herself as well. This is essential to initiate the growth of others. Furthermore, Katia is a commercial engineer, PMP (Project Management Professional) and NLP master practitioner. Through the CIGO training she got a deep insight into Appreciative Inquiry and took classes from David Cooperrider and Ron Fry.
