ICT Security Consultant – ISO 27001 & IAM

Our client, a prominent public administration entity, is seeking an expert to strengthen their cybersecurity framework and strategic policy. The role involves providing advisory support for security governance while coordinating the execution of ongoing security projects across multiple departments.

• Advise on the development and implementation of organizational ICT security policies.
• Support the establishment and optimization of an Information Security Management System (ISMS) based on international standards.
• Lead project initiation, planning, and reporting for various security workstreams.
• Perform detailed process analysis to document and improve security governance.
• Coordinate information gathering and surveys across different technical and business units.
• Analyze and optimize Identity and Access Management (IAM) workflows.

• 3+ years of experience in ICT security technology and consulting roles.
• You have proven experience in analyzing, optimizing, and documenting security processes and governance.
• You possess technical knowledge of ISO 27001 and NIS2 frameworks.
• You bring practical experience in setting up and managing an ISMS.
• You have hands-on experience with Identity and Access Management (IAM).
• You're experienced in project management activities including planning, monitoring, and reporting.
• You have strong skills in process analysis and methodological documentation.
• You possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical or engineering field.
• You are fluent in Dutch with a C2 level of proficiency.

Nice to Haves

• Professional experience within Flemish or local government administrations.
• Familiarity with ITIL frameworks.
• Knowledge of phishing simulation and security awareness programs.
