Infrastructure Engineer – Linux & Kubernetes

Our client, a public organization dedicated to the agricultural sector, is looking for an infrastructure professional specialized in Linux and Kubernetes. The role focuses on expanding and maintaining robust platforms for both proprietary and third-party applications within an enterprise environment.

• Set up and maintain enterprise-grade systems with a primary focus on containerized environments.
• Manage daily operations including system monitoring, backups, and incident resolution.
• Design and implement large-scale infrastructure changes and new system deployments.
• Expand the on-premise Kubernetes platform to support various business applications.
• Collaborate with specialized teams to manage Linux servers, network equipment, and storage infrastructure.

• You have 3+ years of experience with Kubernetes including setup, upgrades, and configuration in enterprise environments.
• You bring 3+ years of experience using Ansible for configuration management.
• You possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a technical or engineering field.
• You are native in Dutch.

Nice to Haves

• Experience with Suse Linux Enterprise Server (SLES).
• Proficiency in scripting with Bash, Python, or Perl.
• Knowledge of CI/CD and automation tools such as Azure DevOps Server.
• Experience with monitoring tools like Elastic or Nagios.
• Familiarity with Cisco ACI, Palo Alto, F5 BIG-IP, or enterprise storage solutions such as NetApp and HPE.
