Senior Full Stack Developer – Java & Angular

Our client, a leading organization in the environmental and water management sector, is looking for a senior developer to drive the evolution of their digital platforms. This role involves building modern web applications on cloud infrastructure while contributing to both customer-facing product teams and central shared service initiatives. The project focuses on developing data-driven applications and implementing innovative technical roadmaps within a cloud-native ecosystem.

• Develop and maintain scalable web applications using modern full-stack technologies.
• Deploy and manage containerized services within an Azure Kubernetes Service environment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build data spaces and connectivity tools for regional stakeholders.
• Support the design of automated test frameworks and the integration of AI-driven development roadmaps.
• Conduct technical research and proof-of-concepts to evaluate new features for organization-wide rollout.

• You have 8+ years of experience in backend development with Java (specifically versions 17 or 21).
• You possess 8+ years of frontend expertise with Angular and HTML5.
• You bring 5+ years of experience with Spring, Spring Boot, and Hibernate.
• You're experienced with software lifecycle tools including Git, Maven, and JUnit.
• You possess 3+ years of experience working with RESTful API and Microservices architecture.
• You have practical experience with containerization using Docker and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
• You have advanced knowledge of Agile methodologies, ideally within a SAFe context.
• You possess a proactive and solution-oriented mindset with an interest in AI-assisted programming.
• You are native or bilingual in Dutch with professional working proficiency in English.

Nice to Haves

• Experience with Azure DevOps and Node.js.
• Knowledge of GIS and GIS data types.
• Familiarity with UX Design & Research principles.
• Knowledge of Reactive Programming or RxJs.
• Experience with MS SQL Server and OAuth.
