IT Quality Tester – Web & Microservices

Our client is seeking a professional to ensure the functional and technical quality of software products, web applications, and microservices. The role focuses on performing a blend of manual and automated testing within an Agile environment to optimize end-user experience and software stability.

• Develop and execute comprehensive test cases based on user stories within a self-steering Agile team.
• Design and configure automated tests using Cypress and Newman/Postman within CI/CD pipelines.
• Identify, report, and monitor software defects while ensuring product continuity and stability.
• Prepare and manage the necessary test data for diverse technological environments.
• Analyze project risks and impact in collaboration with the scrum master and functional analysts.
• Support the team by filtering and improving the quality of logged issues from various sources.

• You bring 8+ years of experience working with Jira for defect management and project tracking.
• You possess 5+ years of experience working with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• You have 5+ years of experience in test automation using Cypress, Selenium, and Cucumber.
• You have 5+ years of experience with testing tools such as Newman, Postman, and LambdaTest.
• You bring 3+ years of experience testing Microservices and web-based architectures.
• You have 1+ years of experience with Java and SQL databases.
• You possess a strong analytical mindset with a focus on accuracy and creative problem-solving.
• You're a communicative team player who can also work independently in a flexible environment.
• You are native in Dutch with professional proficiency in English and limited working proficiency in French.

Nice to Haves

• Familiarity with DB2, Oracle, or VBA.
• Knowledge of SharePoint and Office 365.
• Possession of an ISTQB certification.
