Senior SAP Manager – Strategy & Operations

Our client, a leading organization in the environmental and water management sector, is seeking a Senior SAP Manager to lead the evolution and operational excellence of their SAP landscape. This role bridges business value realization with stable service delivery by managing both the strategic roadmap and the technical platform factory.

• Define and manage the SAP roadmap by aligning business needs with technological possibilities and organizational priorities.
• Oversee the platform strategy and lifecycle to ensure stability, security, and high performance of the SAP S/4HANA environment.
• Manage budgets, forecasts, and software licenses while steering external vendors and contract agreements.
• Facilitate stakeholder management by representing SAP operations within governance boards and building support for investment initiatives.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and innovation within domains like data, AI, and automation.
• Monitor compliance, security, and audit requirements to maintain a robust and safe digital environment.

• You possess 8+ years of experience in SAP management within complex enterprise environments, including SAP S/4HANA and SuccessFactors.
• You have 8+ years of experience in process improvement, business transformation, and strategic roadmap development.
• You bring 5+ years of experience in budget management, license management, and vendor/contract management.
• You possess expert knowledge of digital service delivery, lifecycle management, and security compliance.
• You're able to provide strategic direction and build support for initiatives without hierarchical authority.
• You bring strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• You have a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
• You are native in Dutch.
