Electrical Site Engineer Offshore

Our client, a leading organization in the energy infrastructure sector, is seeking a Site Engineer for a large-scale offshore project. The role involves technical oversight of the outfitting and construction of high-voltage substation modules to support sustainable energy initiatives.

• Provide technical ownership for issues during the outfitting phase on site and escalate major concerns to the construction management.
• Coordinate and participate in onsite inspections and review technical documents submitted by the contractor.
• Collaborate within multidisciplinary teams including inspectors for welding, painting, and safety.
• Manage internal systems and processes for inspection reports to ensure clear communication with the site team and contractor.
• Act as the primary point of contact for engineering queries and maintain alignment with the design team.
• Lead quality-related topics on the construction yard by monitoring non-conformities and quality assurance processes.
• Prepare comprehensive weekly and monthly reports regarding site activities and project progress.

• Bachelor or Master in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
• You bring 3+ years of relevant experience on construction sites with exposure to multiple technical disciplines.
• You possess a valid VCA VOL/SCC certificate for supervisors.
• You have excellent MS Office skills for managing structured reports and data efficiently.
• You're a proactive, quick learner with a strong focus on safety and quality standards.
• You are fluent in English.

Nice to Haves

• Experience in the offshore sector or with topside outfitting.
• Knowledge of Aconex or experience with Quality Control and Assurance processes.
• Active knowledge of Dutch.
