Senior Data Architect – AI & Semantic Modeling 3d/week

Our client, a prominent research and technology organization, is seeking an expert to explore how AI can support strategic business decisions by linking internal portfolios with external market signals. The role focuses on designing proof of concepts that utilize generative AI and semantic mapping to structure information for high-level decision-making.

• Design and implement proof of concepts focused on strategic decision-support questions.
• Develop AI workflows including input source selection, processing, matching, and validation.
• Create a common semantic layer to connect internal portfolio data with external market signals.
• Analyze requirements for scaling AI solutions across multiple organizational departments.
• Formulate recommendations regarding information architecture, data governance, and tooling.
• Collaborate with internal departments to validate AI-generated outputs for business value.

• You possess 8+ years of experience as a data architect managing complex architecture and data strategy.
• You have experience with AI and Generative AI applications for business intelligence or decision support.
• You bring expertise in Information Architecture, Semantic Models, Taxonomies, Ontologies, or Knowledge Graphs.
• You're proactive and solution-oriented with experience in stakeholder management.
• You are fluent in Dutch with C2 level proficiency.

Nice to Haves

• Experience mapping conceptual information models to logical data models.
• Knowledge of Data Management and industry data standards.
• Experience with programming and scripting languages.
• Ability to translate business questions into AI workflows and POCs.
• Familiarity with external data sources for market information.
