Design Engineer - Fiber & Copper (Hasselt)

Our client, a prominent player in the telecommunications infrastructure sector, is seeking a Design Engineer to support their network expansion projects. This role focuses on the end-to-end development and maintenance of fiber and copper cable networks to ensure a high-quality infrastructure for diverse customer needs.

• Develop technical solutions for the adaptation and extension of fiber and copper networks based on infrastructure renewal and customer requests.
• Optimize project execution by considering operational complexity, resource management, and budget constraints.
• Translate global studies into detailed technical files and documented designs for construction teams.
• Manage the release of final documentation and ensure data is accurately recorded in the database.
• Support construction colleagues with technical queries and monitor overall data quality.
• Coordinate specific project domains or road work initiatives based on specialized expertise.

• You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent through experience.
• You possess experience/knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Office tools including Excel and Access.
• You are interested in the telecom sector
• You're proactive, solution-oriented, and capable of working independently under tight deadlines.
• You are fluent in Dutch or French with a good understanding of English.
