Senior SAP Operations Manager & Architect – Cloud & Infrastructure Transformation

Our client, a major organization in the infrastructure sector, is seeking a Senior SAP Operations Manager and Architect to drive their technical landscape evolution. This dual-focus role requires designing future-proof architectures while orchestrating large-scale transformations from blueprint to go-live.

• Design and develop autonomous SAP architectures for both on-premise and cloud-based environments.
• Orchestrate complex roadmaps, conversions, and technical integrations across the full project lifecycle.
• Establish a comprehensive IT masterplan covering maintenance, cybersecurity, and emerging cloud innovations.
• Lead technical teams by example, executing operational tasks and ensuring high service availability.
• Implement large-scale migrations to cloud platforms including RISE with SAP and SAP BTP.
• Monitor and manage the application lifecycle using advanced observability and integration tools.
• Advise on digital innovation strategies involving Big Data, AI, and cloud-first concepts.

• You bring 15+ years of practical experience in SAP BC environments.
• You possess 8+ years of experience as an SAP Architect defining roadmaps across OS, database, network, and cloud layers.
• You have 5+ years of operational management experience within large transformation projects such as S/4HANA conversions.
• You possess extensive knowledge of SAP Architecture including Fiori, ERP, SAP BO, SOLMAN, GRC, EWM, BW, PI, and xECM.
• You bring advanced expertise in SAP Cloud technologies such as BTP, CIS, Integration Suite, Datasphere, Work Zone, Ariba, and SuccessFactors.
• You're proficient in Application Lifecycle Management and monitoring tools including Solution Manager, Cloud ALM, Zabbix, Grafana, and Elastic Search.
• You have deep knowledge of HANA and Sybase databases alongside AIX, Linux, and Windows operating systems.
• You possess strong Cybersecurity expertise including reverse proxies, cloud connectors, NIS2, SAML, SSO, and hardening protocols.
• You bring a solid understanding of the ITIL framework and CMDB tools.
• You are fluent in French or Dutch (C2 level) with at least B2 level in the other language and C1 level in English.

Nice to Haves

• Knowledge of SAP AI and advanced Big Data innovations.
• Experience with ISO9001 standards and formal pentesting procedures.
• Willingness to participate in a standby duty rotation.
