Our client, a major organization in the energy sector, is looking for a Release Manager to oversee the end-to-end release process for a large-scale platform transformation. The role focuses on orchestrating multi-vendor deliveries, managing CI/CD governance, and ensuring business continuity across legacy and modern environments.
Responsabilités
- Coordinate and align release planning across multiple vendors and project teams to ensure a consolidated release calendar.
- Define, implement, and enforce a release management framework including quality gates and approval processes.
- Conduct comprehensive release impact assessments to identify and manage functional, technical, and operational risks.
- Safeguard business continuity by aligning modern platform releases with ongoing legacy operations.
- Standardize CI/CD strategies across all contributing teams to ensure consistent and reliable automated deployment flows.
- Provide transparent communication and structured reporting on release status, risks, and decisions to program governance bodies.
- Facilitate post-release evaluations to capture lessons learned and drive continuous improvement of release automation.
Exigences
- 5+ years experience in Release Management including the setup and improvement of release governance processes.
- 3+ years experience working within a professional software Testing context.
- 2+ years experience in multi-stakeholder release coordination involving complex multi-vendor environments.
- 2+ years experience managing CI/CD pipelines and Release Automation strategies.
- You possess experience with ITSM tools such as Topdesk and MS Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- You bring the ability to translate high-level release strategies into measurable operational impact.
- You're proactive and solution-oriented with the capability to critically challenge release readiness and quality.
- You are fluent in Dutch or French (C1) and English (C1) with B2 level understanding of the second national language.
Nice to Haves
- Professional knowledge of the Belgian energy market.
- Possession of ITIL V4.0 Foundation or higher certification.
- Possession of an ISTQB Foundation certificate.
- Specific experience with Topdesk.
