Expert Tech Lead – Python & React

Our client, a major organization in the public safety sector, is looking for an experienced professional to lead the development of specialized software applications. The role involves guiding a technical team through complex architectural challenges while ensuring the delivery of high-quality, scalable solutions.

• Lead the technical direction and coordination of a specialized development team.
• Design complex systems with a focus on scalability, security, and performance.
• Build and maintain robust backend services using Python and Django.
• Develop modern frontend interfaces using React.
• Establish coding standards and perform code reviews to ensure technical excellence.
• Translate business requirements into technical implementations in an Agile environment.
• Manage deployments and automation using Docker and CI/CD pipelines.

• 8+ years of experience in software architecture and system design.
• 8+ years of experience in backend development using Python and Django.
• 8+ years of experience in frontend development with React, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• 8+ years of experience with Docker, Docker Compose, and CI/CD processes.
• 8+ years of experience in data-driven application development with SQL and pandas.
• Possess extensive knowledge of API development including REST, SOAP, and GraphQL.
• You have expertise in version control using Git, GitHub, and GitLab.
• You are proactive and solution-oriented with strong communication skills.
• You are fluent in English with active knowledge of Dutch or French.

Nice to Haves

• Willingness to obtain a security clearance.
• Passive knowledge of both Dutch and French.

• Duration: 2 months plus extension

• Working model: Hybrid (2 days onsite on Tuesday and Thursday)
