Expert Solution Architect – Passenger Information & Integration

Our client, a leading organization in the transport sector, is looking for a professional to define solution architectures for a large-scale passenger information program. The role focuses on translating complex system requirements into manageable designs while guiding stakeholders and delivery teams through architectural trade-offs.

• Define and evolve solution architectures that support the business case and adhere to existing guardrails.
• Facilitate architectural discussions to ensure risks and trade-offs are understood by both technical and business stakeholders.
• Act as a primary bridge between business stakeholders, IT management, and delivery teams.
• Validate solution designs and follow up on implementations to ensure architectural compliance.
• Perform architectural analysis of epics and evaluate project constraints to find alternative solutions.
• Share technical knowledge and architectural insights with colleagues across the organization.

• You have 8+ years of experience in solution, integration, or application architecture.
• You possess 5+ years of experience in integration architecture.
• You bring 5+ years of experience with API managers and API gateways.
• You have 4+ years of experience within the railway industry.
• You possess certifications in Archimate and Open Agile Architecture.
• You're proficient in UML and ArchiMate modeling.
• You bring experience in API design using Swagger or OpenAPI.
• You are fluent in Dutch or French with a C1 level and have a B2 level of English.

Nice to Haves

• Experience with Kafka and event-driven architectures.
• Knowledge of Azure Cloud platforms.
