Senior Business Solution Manager – Asset Management & Python

Our client, a key player in the energy sector, is seeking a Senior Business Solution Manager to support the digital transformation of their asset management landscape. This role involves driving the development of data-driven products that optimize maintenance and replacement strategies for critical infrastructure.

• Support the Product Owner in defining and delivering the product roadmap in alignment with strategic objectives.
• Translate complex maintenance and risk-mitigation processes into scalable product capabilities and technical requirements.
• Utilize Python to perform hands-on data analysis, validate business logic, and investigate anomalies within datasets.
• Facilitate workshops with domain experts and IT teams to bridge the gap between operational needs and technical solutions.
• Manage the product backlog, ensuring items are well-defined, prioritized, and ready for implementation.
• Act as a deputy for the Product Owner during stakeholder alignment meetings and product ceremonies to ensure continuity.

• 8+ years of experience in product delivery, digital transformation, or process optimization within asset-intensive environments.
• Expert knowledge of Asset Management, Maintenance Engineering, or Enterprise Asset Management (EAM).
• Advanced hands-on proficiency in Python for data analysis and investigating complex business questions.
• Proven experience working at the intersection of business, technology, and data in industrial or utility sectors.
• Strong background in stakeholder management and the ability to influence senior-level decision-makers.
• Excellent workshop facilitation and presentation skills to structure ambiguous or complex topics.
• You possess a proactive, analytical mindset with a strong focus on delivering actionable product outcomes.
• You are fluent in English with knowledge of Dutch and/or French.

Nice to Haves

• Experience with Power BI or modern data platforms.
• Familiarity with specialized asset decision-support solutions.
