Senior Full Stack Developer – Node.js & React

Our client, a leading organization in the public safety sector, is looking for a senior developer to support the development of intelligent applications. This role focuses on leveraging AI technology, including Large Language Models, to enhance organizational processes through innovative software solutions.

• Develop and maintain full-stack applications within a modern technical architecture.
• Integrate AI models via APIs into existing and new software solutions.
• Design and implement solutions based on Large Language Models (LLMs) and Vision Language Models (VLMs).
• Fine-tune AI models and optimize prompts for specific operational use cases.
• Process and prepare complex datasets involving text, images, and multimodal data.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of experts to deliver innovative functionalities.
• Contribute to the technical architecture and ensure high-quality software standards.

• You have 8+ years of experience in backend development with Node.js.
• You bring 8+ years of experience in frontend development with React.
• You possess 5+ years of experience in the development of AI-driven applications and services.
• You have 1+ year of professional experience with Python.
• You possess extensive knowledge of AI/ML models, including LLMs (GPT, Claude, LLaMA) and VLMs (CLIP, BLIP, Flamingo).
• You bring proven expertise in fine-tuning and prompt engineering for LLMs and VLMs.
• You have experience with data preprocessing and data augmentation for multimodal datasets.
• You possess a strong background in integrating AI models via APIs and working with multimodal AI.
• You're proactive, solution-oriented, and capable of working independently on technical challenges.
• You are fluent in Dutch at a C2 level.

Nice to Haves

• Knowledge of C++, PostgreSQL, and Docker.
• Experience with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX.
• Knowledge of GPU acceleration, vector databases, and Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG).
• Practical experience with computer vision libraries like YOLO, OpenCV, or Detectron2.
• Experience in coaching developers and taking a lead role in Agile environments.
