Senior PMO Manager – Digital Transformation & IT Delivery

Our client, a major public sector organization, is undergoing a large-scale digital and organizational transformation to enhance its strategic execution. A leading driver of performance is sought to optimize delivery capacity, break down organizational silos, and ensure the predictable execution of a complex IT roadmap.

• Direct and challenge project delivery teams to ensure high-quality execution and impact across the strategic roadmap.
• Identify and resolve structural bottlenecks related to capacity, cross-project dependencies, and prioritization.
• Optimize organizational processes and collaboration models to increase delivery maturity and transversal cooperation.
• Coach project managers and team leads in delivery management, planning, and stakeholder engagement.
• Translate strategic objectives into actionable execution plans while maintaining alignment between priorities and capacity.
• Implement data-driven performance management using indicators for throughput and delivery quality.
• Collaborate with architecture teams to translate technical complexity into clear impacts on planning and delivery.

• You bring 8+ years of experience in Project Management, Program Management, and Delivery Management.
• You possess 8+ years of experience in Change Management within complex matrix organizations.
• You have 8+ years of experience in People Management and coaching leadership profiles.
• You possess 8+ years of experience in Stakeholder Management within highly complex environments.
• You bring 5+ years of experience in Portfolio Management and Roadmap Management.
• You have 5+ years of experience with Agile, Lean, and Hybrid delivery models.
• You have 5+ years of experience in Operational Excellence and Process Improvement.
• You possess 3+ years of experience using Power BI for performance reporting and data-driven steering.
• You are a results-oriented leader with strong analytical skills and a hands-on approach to problem-solving.
• You have active knowledge of Dutch, French, and English.

Nice to Haves

• Experience working within the public sector.
• Strong understanding of IT architecture including data, integration, and infrastructure dependencies.
• Willingness to obtain a PRINCE2 Practitioner certification.
• Willingness to obtain an ITIL Foundation certification.

• Start date: 04/05/2026
• Duration: until the end of 2026 (with potential extension)
• Work regime: Full-time (40 hours/week)
• Location: Brussels
• Working model: Hybrid (minimum 2 days onsite per week)
