Automation Project Engineer

• Manage the automation scope within multidisciplinary project teams.
• Design and implement integrated OT/IT solutions and configure computerized systems.
• Develop, review, and execute commissioning protocols, test plans, and validation documentation for GxP systems.
• Lead troubleshooting activities to identify root causes and propose technical solutions.
• Support investigations, deviations, and CAPA processes to ensure compliant closure.
• Coordinate the procurement of necessary hardware and software components.
• Communicate regularly with project leads and delivery stakeholders regarding technical progress.

• 5+ years experience in industrial automation or IT within a GxP environment.
• You possess deep knowledge of ISA-95 standards and computer networking (switches, firewalls).
• You have experience with validation standards and requirements such as ALCOA and cGMP Annex 11.
• You bring technical proficiency in Active Directory and FileShare management.
• You're able to handle on-call support duties during weekends (9h to 17h).
• You are fluent in English with a C1 level of Dutch preferred.
• You possess a proactive, service-oriented mindset and strong organizational skills.

Nice to Haves

• Experience with Aveva PI data historian or Lighthouse monitoring systems.
• Knowledge of PLC controlled automation.
• Programming skills in PowerShell, CMD, or SQL.
• Familiarity with Cybersecurity principles and NIS2 regulations.
