Senior Scrum Master – Platform & Infrastructure Operations

Our client, a prominent independent energy infrastructure group, is looking for a senior professional to guide their platform teams through a product-centric transformation. This role focuses on coaching operational teams to adopt pragmatic agile methodologies while navigating strict security and compliance requirements.

• Coach two operational platform teams in transitioning to a proactive, product-centric, and agile way of working.
• Co-design tailored agile methods that balance iterative delivery with strict security, compliance, and audit constraints.
• Facilitate a customized cadence of ceremonies, adapting events and roles to suit the specific operational context.
• Guide team members and stakeholders in reframing infrastructure platforms as products with defined roadmaps and value outcomes.
• Identify and mitigate impediments, focusing on streamlining friction points created by regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with the broader agile community to embed a product-centric mindset across the organization.

• 8+ years of experience in agile facilitation and coaching, specifically leading teams through complex organizational transitions.
• You have extensive knowledge of Scrum, Kanban, and Lean thinking, including the ability to design hybrid models.
• You bring proven experience working within operational, platform, or infrastructure environments.
• You possess a strong background in navigating strict security, compliance, or audit frameworks as design parameters.
• You're an expert facilitator capable of diagnosing team contexts and implementing pragmatic problem-solving strategies.
• You have a proactive mindset focused on fostering ownership and psychological safety within technical teams.
• You are fluent in English.

• Knowledge of the LeSS framework.
• Experience as a scrum master specifically for an operational team.
