Expert Asset Management – Cybersecurity & ISO 27001

Our client, a prominent organization in the public safety sector, is looking for an expert to conduct a thorough evaluation of their current asset management landscape. The project focuses on assessing IT, OT, and informational assets to deliver a strategic improvement roadmap for the security office.

• Map the current state of hardware, software, data, cloud, and OT assets across the organization.
• Evaluate the completeness and accuracy of existing CMDB and discovery tools.
• Organize interviews and workshops with infrastructure, application, and security stakeholders to gather requirements.
• Perform gap analyses against international standards such as ISO 27001 and NIST.
• Analyze and prioritize security risks related to unmanaged or obsolete assets.
• Develop a concrete roadmap for asset discovery, classification, and lifecycle management.
• Present findings and strategic recommendations to executive management and the security office.

• You have 8+ years of experience in Asset Management including inventory, classification, and lifecycle management.
• You possess 8+ years of expertise in Cybersecurity frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST SP 800-53, and CyFun.
• You bring proven experience with CMDB and discovery tools such as ServiceNow, Lansweeper, or Tanium.
• You have deep knowledge of Cloud and OT asset management including shadow IT detection.
• You possess solid experience performing risk assessments for unmanaged or unpatched assets.
• You're autonomous and capable of delivering high-quality results in short-term, high-impact missions.
• You possess strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with stakeholders from management to technical administrators.
• You are fluent in French or Dutch with active knowledge of English.

Nice to Haves

• Master's degree in a relevant field.
• Possession of certifications such as ISO 27001 Lead Auditor/Implementer, CISM, or CDPSE.
