Senior Functional Analyst – Systems & Business Processes

Our client, a leading organization specializing in environmental safety and waste management, is looking for a professional to bridge the gap between business and ICT. This role focuses on maintaining a stable IT environment and ensuring the performance of application systems across various business units.

• Perform functional and technical analyses to align hardware and software renewals with organizational needs.
• Design and document functional solutions based on requirements gathered from stakeholders and end-users.
• Monitor, maintain, and test the reliability and security of IT infrastructure and software applications.
• Provide second-line support to ICT colleagues by troubleshooting application and network-related issues.
• Develop proposals for process improvements and technical optimizations to meet evolving requirements.
• Manage technical documentation, inventories, and user manuals throughout the system lifecycle.

• You bring 8+ years of experience in functional analysis using modern methodologies and tools.
• You have experience with BPMN, UML, and testing methodologies.
• You possess knowledge of Agile development methodologies and collaboration within technical teams.
• You're familiar with API design, Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA), and Event-Driven Architecture.
• You have knowledge of integration patterns and system-based communication via services and events.
• You understand standard business processes in administration, production, and logistics.
• You have experience developing and maintaining data structures and system settings.
• You are proactive, detail-oriented, and customer-focused.
• You are fluent in Dutch and English with basic knowledge of French.
