Commissioning Lead

Our client, a leading pharmaceutical company, is looking for a Commissioning Lead to drive the execution of an ambitious project. This role involves overseeing the entire commissioning lifecycle, bridging the gap between engineering, contractors, and quality departments to ensure successful delivery of critical installations.

• Draft and validate comprehensive commissioning plans, procedures, and checklists across multiple disciplines.
• Develop detailed commissioning packages for mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, utilities, HVAC, and process installations.
• Lead and manage the daily activities of a multidisciplinary commissioning team on-site, acting as the primary point of contact for third parties.
• Establish and maintain punch list systems and tracking tools to ensure structured follow-up of open items.
• Ensure seamless alignment with QA and CQV teams to facilitate the transition to the qualification phase.
• Take full ownership of Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) performance, including conducting daily toolbox talks and mitigating on-site risks.

• You have 8+ years of experience in commissioning within cGMP pharmaceutical environments.
• You possess proven leadership expertise in managing multidisciplinary teams across mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, utilities, HVAC, and process installations.
• You bring strong technical writing skills for reviewing commissioning packages, procedures, and project reports.
• You're able to maintain a broad overview while making fast, well-considered decisions under pressure.
• You are fluent in Dutch and English.

• Experience with cleanrooms, bioreactors, autoclaves, and AHUs.
