Front-End Developer - Design System (Angular)

Our client, a prominent service provider, is looking for a specialized expert to strengthen their front-end capabilities. The role focuses on evolving a robust design system and implementing a large-scale application redesign while ensuring high architectural standards.

• Develop and maintain the core design system to ensure visual consistency across all digital applications.
• Translate complex UI/UX designs into high-quality, reusable front-end components.
• Optimize application architecture with a focus on pure front-end development and scalability.
• Collaborate closely with the Product Owner, Team Lead, and peer developers to deliver refined user interfaces.
• Apply reactive programming principles to enhance application performance and state management.
• Maintain high code quality standards through rigorous styling principles and modern development practices.

• 5+ years of professional experience in front-end development.
• You bring advanced expertise in TypeScript and JavaScript.
• You possess thorough experience with Angular (version 21 or other recent versions).
• You have an excellent command of CSS and modern styling principles.
• You bring deep understanding of reactive programming concepts.
• You're passionate about UI/UX and have a strong eye for visual consistency.
• Dutch mandatory.

Nice to Haves

• Experience with GitHub and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of Test-Driven Development.
• Basic understanding of Accessibility and Internationalisation for multilingual applications.
• Experience with responsive design for mobile optimization.
