Senior Software Architect – Software Engineering

Our client, a prominent HR service provider, is seeking a senior professional to strengthen their architecture team. This role focuses on defining the technical roadmap and ensuring design quality across a vast application landscape during a period of digital transformation.

• Establish architectural standards and technical direction for development teams working on the Java stack.
• Monitor and safeguard design quality and technical consistency across more than 400 systems.
• Translate complex business requirements into scalable and resilient software architectures.
• Oversee the technical integration of systems following organizational mergers and post-merger activities.
• Provide expert guidance to development teams on the implementation of modern architectural patterns.

• 8+ years of experience in software engineering with a focus on the Java stack.
• Proven expertise in microservices architecture and enterprise-level design patterns.
• Extensive knowledge of Kubernetes and container orchestration.
• Strong background in navigating and streamlining complex enterprise environments.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to bridge the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders.
• You are fluent in Dutch.
