Enterprise Security Architect – Critical Infrastructure & Cloud

Our client, a major infrastructure operator in the energy sector, is seeking an Enterprise Security Architect to define and govern their overarching security architecture. The role focuses on translating high-level security measures into practical implementations across a complex IT landscape while ensuring a future-proof security posture.

• Develop, maintain, and evolve the enterprise security architecture strategy and blueprints.
• Integrate secure-by-design and Zero Trust principles within new developments and existing systems.
• Align security practices with regulatory frameworks such as NIS2, ISO 27001, and GDPR.
• Evaluate and select enterprise-level security platforms including IAM, PAM, and SIEM/SOAR.
• Provide strategic guidance for audit, compliance, and IT resilience improvement activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional architecture teams to ensure technological alignment and roadmaps.
• Document and communicate security standards to support the adoption of coherent security principles across teams.

• You have 5+ years of experience in security architecture.
• You possess broad expertise in security domains including Azure, IAM/PAM, Network Security, and SIEM/SOAR.
• You bring experience defining secure architectures for hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
• You have practical experience working within IT/OT environments.
• You possess a deep understanding of regulatory frameworks such as NIS2, ISO 27001, and GDPR.
• You have a master's degree in civil engineering, commercial engineering, or a scientific orientation.
• You're a strong communicator capable of effectively collaborating with diverse stakeholders.
• You are fluent in French, Dutch, and English.

Nice to Haves

• Certifications such as TOGAF, SABSA, CISSP, CISM, CCSP, or ITIL.
• Exposure to enterprise architecture tools such as Sparx Enterprise Architect.
• Familiarity with the utility or energy sector.
