Senior Test Engineer – Rail Signalling & Safety Systems

Our client, a leading organization in the transport infrastructure sector, is looking for a Senior Test Engineer to support safety-critical signalling projects. The role focuses on manual and automated testing of Java-based systems within an Agile team environment.

• Monitor compliance with Cenelec principles (EN50.128) and internal quality standards.
• Perform manual and automated testing for complex Java projects.
• Ensure adherence to ISO 9001, ISO 27001-NIS, and safety regulations.
• Maintain rigorous documentation to ensure standard compliance and traceability.
• Contribute to business objectives while maintaining a strong user-centric approach within an Agile team.

• 8+ years experience in software testing with ISTQB certification.
• 5+ years experience with manual testing methodologies and Agile/Scrum frameworks.
• 5+ years experience using Jira, Xray, and XML for test management and data handling.
• 1+ years experience in test automation using Ranorex, Selenium, and Python.
• 1+ years experience with SQL and quality management tools like (HP-)ALM and Confluence.
• Experience with Cenelec EN50.128 safety standards for railway applications.
• Experience with API testing using Ready-API and Swagger.
• You are fluent in French (C2) with advanced knowledge of English (C1) and a proficiency in Dutch (B1).

Nice to Haves

• Possession of an automation-specific certification such as A4Q.
