Data & Solution Architect – Azure & Cloud-Native

Our client, a key organization in the energy sector, is seeking a professional to lead the architectural modernization of their central data platform. The role involves guiding the transition to cloud-native solutions while ensuring the integrity and integration of existing enterprise architectures.

• Develop and oversee the data and solution architecture for a strategic platform modernization initiative.
• Analyze existing application and data structures to define future-state architectural goals.
• Design scalable, secure, and maintainable cloud-native solutions within the Azure ecosystem.
• Provide expert guidance to development teams and stakeholders regarding technical choices and architectural best practices.
• Manage and support the Azure DevOps environment to streamline technical delivery.
• Ensure seamless integration between legacy systems and modern architectural components.
• Support governance, security, and compliance requirements within the architecture domain.

• You have 5+ years of experience in data architecture and complex enterprise data modeling.
• You bring 5+ years of experience with Azure DevOps administration and management.
• You possess 5+ years of experience writing SQL queries for data analysis.
• You have 3+ years of experience within the Belgian energy sector.
• You bring experience in designing microservices and cloud-native architecture.
• You possess the skills to translate conceptual information models into logical data models.
• You're experienced in defining and implementing a technical test strategy.
• You are fluent in English with C1 level proficiency in Dutch or French.

Nice to Haves

• Experience with Python programming.
• Knowledge of UMIG 6 and UMIG DGO processes.
