Senior .NET Application Architect – Cloud & Microservices

Our client is a dynamic organization currently evolving its large-scale IT landscape towards a modern microservices architecture. The role involves defining the application and integration architecture for the comprehensive rewrite of a critical business application within a cloud-based environment.

• Ensure the continuous evolution of the IT system and architectural landscape.
• Support multidisciplinary development teams in delivering high-quality solutions aligned with product objectives.
• Translate architectural vision into actionable standards, models, and patterns for technical teams.
• Define the application and integration architecture for core business applications in the cloud.
• Clarify the value and operation of architectural standards and support their implementation.
• Collaborate with stakeholders at both strategic and technical levels to drive co-creation and consensus.

• You bring 8+ years of hands-on experience as an Application Architect within .NET and microservices environments.
• You possess 5+ years of experience working in an Agile architecture environment using SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework).
• You have 5+ years of experience with Azure Cloud computing services, gRPC, Dapr, and Azure SQL.
• You bring 3+ years of experience in setting up and using container solutions such as ACA or AKS.
• You have 2+ years of experience with NServiceBus.
• You're knowledgeable in architecture frameworks and tooling, including Domain Driven Design (DDD), event-based architecture, Sparx EA, and DrawIO.
• You're a proactive servant leader capable of communicating at both a strategic C-level and a practical development level.
• You are fluent in Dutch and French with a fluent knowledge of English.

Nice to Haves

• Knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL.
• Business knowledge of social security regulations or similar social status frameworks.
