Security Project Manager – Digital Infrastructure & Governance

Our client, a prominent organization in the public sector, is seeking a project leader to manage and deliver security-focused initiatives. This role focuses on overseeing scope, planning, and delivery while aligning with internal teams, external partners, and policy levels.

• Manage the end-to-end execution of security projects regarding governance, risk management, and compliance.
• Prepare and guide public procurement processes, including market surveys and the definition of award criteria.
• Coordinate technical and organizational security measures in close collaboration with infrastructure and security teams.
• Monitor project variables including planning, budget, and scope while identifying risks and bottlenecks.
• Report progress to program management and steering committees to facilitate informed decision-making.
• Connect technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure alignment on security objectives and organizational change.

• 3+ years experience as a project leader for infrastructure or software development projects.
• 2+ years experience specifically leading security projects as a project manager.
• Experience with information security, compliance, or risk management.
• Knowledge of project management methodologies such as Prince2 or PMBok.
• You bring proven experience with change management and driving organizational transformation.
• You possess experience working within the public sector.
• You are fluent in Dutch at a C2 level.

Nice to Haves

• Knowledge of NIS2 or ISO27001.
• Experience with ITIL processes.
• Knowledge of MS Project, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Possession of a security-related training certificate.
• Experience managing external partners and consultants.
