Senior Full Stack Developer – Critical Railway Systems & LeSS Adoption

Our client, a leading organization in the railway infrastructure sector, is seeking an expert to manage mission-critical applications for traffic planning and infrastructure management. This role focuses on driving technical excellence through full-stack development and supporting the adoption of Large-Scale Scrum within a complex, 24/7 environment.

• Translate functional requirements into robust technical solutions through detailed technical analysis.
• Implement scalable and efficient backend solutions using modern development frameworks and architectural patterns.
• Maintain and optimize mission-critical applications while ensuring high availability through troubleshooting and bugfixing.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines to guarantee stable software delivery.
• Ensure high code quality by adhering to Clean Code, SOLID principles, and security best practices.
• Mentor junior and medior developers while contributing to the continuous knowledge development within the teams.
• Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation to support business-critical operations.

• 10+ years backend development with Java 21, Spring Framework, Hibernate, and JPA.
• 10+ years experience in data and integration with Kafka, SQL, PostgreSQL, MySQL, and Oracle.
• 10+ years experience with Clean Code principles and Test Driven Development (TDD).
• 10+ years DevOps and CI/CD experience using Git, Jenkins, and Artifactory.
• 5+ years architecture and design with Microservices, Domain Driven Design (DDD), and Hexagonal Architecture.
• 2+ years frontend development with Angular 19+.
• 2+ years experience with Large-Scale Scrum (LeSS) implementations.
• 2+ years with WebSocket and Miro.
• You possess strong analytical skills, initiative, and a proactive approach to coaching and mentoring teams.
• You are fluent in English with C1 proficiency in French or Dutch.
