Senior Java DevOps Engineer – Infrastructure & Cloud Automation

Our client, a leading organization in the infrastructure sector, is seeking a Senior Java DevOps Engineer for a long-term project. The role focuses on enhancing performance, scalability, and system reliability within a complex technical environment where development and operations are closely integrated.

• Develop and maintain high-performance applications using Java 21 to meet system requirements.
• Manage and optimize CI/CD pipelines to ensure efficient and reliable software delivery.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve overall system reliability and platform stability.
• Implement comprehensive monitoring and logging solutions to proactively track system health.
• Apply software development best practices including continuous improvement and bug fixing.
• Design and execute robust testing strategies to maintain high software quality standards.

• You bring 8+ years of backend development experience with Java (version 21) and Spring Framework.
• You possess 5+ years of experience with containerization and orchestration via OpenShift, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• You have 5+ years of experience with data and integration tools including Hibernate, JPA, and SQL databases.
• You have hands-on experience with DevOps and CI/CD tools like Git, Jenkins, and Artifactory.
• You bring experience in testing and quality assurance through TDD, JUnit, and Mockito.
• You possess knowledge of monitoring and logging solutions including Grafana and Elasticsearch.
• You have practical experience with hexagonal architecture design patterns.
• You are proactive and solution-oriented.
• You are fluent in French or Dutch with a good command of English.

Nice to Haves

• Knowledge of Angular.
• Experience using Miro.
