Functional Analyst – Banking & Insurance Systems

Our client, a prominent organization in the financial services sector, is seeking an experienced professional to oversee the functional design of their information systems. The role involves translating complex business needs into robust technical specifications and ensuring the seamless evolution of systems from initial study through to production.

• Manage the planning and conceptual design for the preliminary analysis and design phases.
• Perform detailed functional analysis and draft comprehensive design documentation following the pre-study phase.
• Support the lifecycle of system changes and enhancements from the development stage through to production.
• Develop and refine program requirements and specifications to address specific customer requirements.
• Analyze service requests to determine feasibility, resource needs, and project time estimations.
• Resolve issues within current systems and support essential system upgrades and technical enhancements.

• You have 5+ years of experience in functional analysis and the functional design of complex information systems.
• You bring proven professional experience within the Banking or Insurance sectors.
• You possess knowledge of Software Development lifecycles and IT Security principles.
• You're proficient in Agile Methodologies and modern project management practices.
• You have strong Analytical Thinking skills and a data-driven approach to problem-solving.
• You bring a collaborative spirit to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
