Data Analyst – Power BI & Financial Performance

Our client, a leading player in the European energy sector, is seeking a specialist to drive the evolution of their automated reporting landscape. This role focuses on designing high-impact KPI dashboards that support strategic and operational decision-making across the organization.

• Build and automate end-to-end KPI reporting solutions for global stakeholders.
• Translate business requirements into decision-ready dashboards aligned with performance frameworks.
• Rationalize Power BI semantic models and consolidate overlapping datasets.
• Optimize visualizations to ensure intuitive and consistent reporting across the portfolio.
• Lead data cleaning and quality activities in coordination with data owners.
• Act as a trusted advisor to bridge the gap between business departments and IT teams.
• Monitor report adoption and propose improvements based on user behavior metrics.

• You have solid experience with Power BI Desktop, including DAX, Power Query, and gateway management.
• You bring proven expertise designing and maintaining KPI dashboards in a corporate finance or controlling context.
• You possess strong skills in data modeling, semantic model optimization, and performance tuning.
• You're able to work autonomously to identify needs and drive reporting solutions to delivery.
• You have excellent communication skills to engage with both executive stakeholders and technical teams.
• You are fluent in English with a good working knowledge of French or Dutch.

Nice to Haves

• Working knowledge of German.
• Familiarity with Power BI governance including workspaces and access roles.
