Senior IT Manager – Digital Transformation & Operations

Our client, a leading public sector agency, is seeking a Senior IT Manager to lead its digital transformation and operational services. This role focuses on driving complex IT systems and steering a multi-vendor ecosystem to guarantee the reliability and performance of modern digital services.

• Drive the delivery of IT operations (RUN) to ensure high availability, stability, and performance across the entire digital infrastructure.
• Lead and mentor internal teams across infrastructure, applications, and support while defining strategic priorities and internal workflows.
• Manage a diverse multi-vendor ecosystem by monitoring SLAs and ensuring high-quality service delivery from external technology partners.
• Translate the digital transformation strategy into actionable IT projects and ensure seamless alignment with the operational roadmap.
• Coordinate incident and crisis management efforts to mitigate risks and implement robust corrective actions for critical systems.
• Collaborate with legal and procurement departments to structure technical requirements and evaluations for public tenders.

• 8+ years of experience in IT management with a focus on critical RUN operations and incident management.
• 8+ years of experience in Multi-vendor management within complex, multi-layered IT ecosystems.
• You bring proven leadership experience managing teams of approximately 20 people in organizations exceeding 200 employees.
• You possess advanced knowledge of IT governance and security frameworks including ITIL, COBIT, ISO27001, and NIS2.
• You have experience with project management methodologies such as Agile, Prince2, or PMI.
• You're familiar with hybrid infrastructure, security, and integration technologies.
• You have professional experience working within the public sector, including involvement in public procurement.
• You're a proactive communicator with strong decision-making skills and high stress resistance.
• You are fluent in French or Dutch with professional proficiency in English.

• Strong interest in sustainable IT practices and resource optimization.
• Experience using Azure DevOps for team collaboration and project tracking.
