Full Stack Developer – Typescript/Node/ReactJS

Our client, a leading public sector organization in Antwerp, is seeking an experienced developer to join a mission-critical project focused on operational and administrative processing. The role involves developing a scalable, high-performance platform within a socially relevant environment using modern engineering standards.

• Develop backend services using Node.js and TypeScript.
• Build performant and maintainable frontend applications using React.
• Optimize and manage PostgreSQL databases in production environments.
• Contribute to architectural design, scalability, and security measures.
• Implement test automation and monitor code quality.
• Collaborate within an Agile/Scrum team and improve development standards.
• Provide technical guidance and coaching to team members.

• 5+ years of experience in software development.
• Advanced knowledge of backend development with Node.js and TypeScript.
• Extensive experience building modern frontend applications with React.
• Strong proficiency in PostgreSQL and relational database management.
• Practical experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• You are fluent in Dutch with a C2 level of proficiency.

Nice to Haves

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
• Knowledge of Docker and containerization technologies.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
• Proven ability to lead development teams and coach junior developers.
