Senior Functional Analyst – Information Systems & Agile

Our client, a prominent organization in the financial services sector, is seeking a professional to manage the functional design and analysis of their information systems. The role involves overseeing the preliminary design phase, evaluating service requests, and ensuring continuous system improvements in an Agile environment.

• Create conceptual frameworks and manage planning for preliminary analysis and design phases.
• Conduct functional analysis of information systems and develop detailed designs following pre-study phases.
• Support the implementation of changes and enhancements from development through to production.
• Analyze service requests to determine feasibility, technical requirements, and project estimates.
• Recommend and implement system improvements to optimize performance and meet customer needs.
• Resolve issues with current systems and support scheduled upgrades.

• 8+ years of experience in functional analysis and managing the functional design of information systems.
• 3+ years of experience in data and integration using JSON and PostgreSQL.
• 3+ years working with platforms such as ServiceNow and Open Systems.
• Advanced proficiency in project management and documentation tools including Jira and Confluence.
• Strong background in Agile Methodologies and the software development lifecycle.
• Practical knowledge of IT Security and data-driven analysis.
• You possess strong analytical thinking skills and conceptual capabilities.
• You bring experience in project management and maintaining an end-to-end perspective.
• You're proactive and take initiative within a collaborative team environment.
• You are fluent in English.

Nice to Haves

• Knowledge of DQL, SQL, or DB2.
• Experience with MySQL.
• Familiarity with Dynatrace.
