SAP FI Functional Analyst – Global S/4HANA Finance Roll-outs

Our client, a global leader in the industrial sector, is seeking a functional expert to facilitate the international expansion of a harmonized financial platform. The role focuses on deploying a proven global template to new regions while balancing local regulatory requirements with central design integrity.

• Deploy the global finance template into new country entities, configuring and fine-tuning FI modules to meet local requirements.
• Conduct fit-gap analyses with local stakeholders to translate statutory, fiscal, and regulatory requirements into template-compatible solutions.
• Manage country-specific localization work including e-invoicing, electronic ledgers, and local VAT reporting.
• Ensure data integrity during migration and cutover, focusing on master data mapping, opening balances, and intercompany setup.
• Partner with the central template team to feed improvements back into the global standard to avoid country-specific drift.
• Coordinate integration points with adjacent modules such as MM and SD to ensure consistent end-to-end process flows.
• Drive UAT with local key users and provide hypercare support during country go-lives.

• You have 3+ years of experience as an SAP FI Functional Analyst or Consultant, with full-cycle configuration across GL, AP, AR, and AA.
• You bring a proven track record in at least one large-scale international SAP roll-out or template deployment.
• You possess deep functional knowledge of financial business processes and the underlying accounting logic.
• You have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Business Engineering, Information Management, or a related field.
• You possess the ability to bridge financial stakeholders and technical IT teams through clear functional specifications.
• You bring an analytical and pragmatic mindset, comfortable working across diverse cultures and time zones.
• You are fluent in Dutch and English.

Nice to Haves

• Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance deployments.
• Exposure to SAP Document and Reporting Compliance (DRC) for statutory reporting and e-invoicing.
• Previous roll-outs across multiple jurisdictions in EMEA or wider international markets.
• Familiarity with integration points in MM, SD, fixed asset accounting, or tax engines.
• Experience working with external integrators from a client-side perspective.
