Senior Technical Lead – .NET & Azure

Our client, a leading organization in the insurance sector, is seeking a Senior Technical Lead to drive technological transformation and support backend delivery projects. The role focuses on leading technical initiatives, orchestrating knowledge-sharing workshops for developers, and defining strategies for application lifecycle management. This position involves coordinating cross-team technical efforts and providing expert support for cloud and on-premise system integrations.

• Lead technical initiatives and development teams while orchestrating workshops to share knowledge and best practices.
• Define strategies for application lifecycle management and complex framework upgrades.
• Conduct code reviews and maintain quality control using specialized internal tools and packages.
• Provide technical support for migration projects and cloud-related integration patterns.
• Coordinate cross-team technical dependencies and facilitate communication between various project stakeholders.
• Coach junior and medior developers while documenting transversal processes and new integration patterns.

• You bring 8+ years of experience in backend development using .NET C#, Web APIs, and Background worker processes.
• You have 3+ years of experience working with Azure Integration Services, specifically Azure Messaging and Azure Active Directory.
• You possess experience with Entity Framework and the performance optimization of critical technical assets.
• You have a proven track record of leading technical workshops and writing documentation for developers and analysts.
• You're proactive, solution-oriented, and comfortable with public speaking in front of technical audiences.
• You are fluent in English with a fluent level of Dutch or French.

Nice to Haves

• Experience with .NET Core migrations from version 6 to 8+.
• Knowledge of the insurance or financial services domain.
• Familiarity with client data management systems.
