Senior Full Stack Developer – Java & Angular

Our client, a leading government organization focused on environmental protection, is seeking a professional to join their digital solutions team. The role involves modernizing information systems for environmental data registration and reporting to comply with European directives. The project focuses on building robust full-stack solutions within an Agile framework to ensure high-quality data validation and enrichment.

• Create and revise technical analyses and designs in collaboration with the architectural lead.
• Develop new features based on functional and technical specifications.
• Define interfaces between different architecture layers to ensure seamless integration.
• Build backend services and security components using Spring Boot.
• Develop single-page applications with Angular.
• Implement unit tests following test-driven development (TDD) principles.
• Perform peer code reviews according to gitflow principles and monitor non-functional requirements.

• You have 8+ years of experience in backend development with Java and J2EE.
• You possess experience with frontend development using Angular (versions 2-17), JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS.
• You bring proven knowledge of Spring, REST, Maven, and Jenkins.
• You're experienced with containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
• You have experience with public cloud infrastructure and Terraform.
• You possess knowledge of quality assurance using JUnit and test-driven development.
• You bring familiarity with Domain Driven Design (DDD) and Linked Open Data (LOD).
• You have experience leading development teams and coaching developers within an Agile environment.
• You're a certified Scrum Master.
• You are fluent in Dutch with level C2.

Nice to Haves

• Experience with Node.js and npm.
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL (version 11 or higher).
• Familiarity with public sector processes and technical standards.
