Java Developer – Healthcare Automation & Digitalisation

Our client, a leading organization in the healthcare insurance sector, is seeking a professional to join a specialized department focused on system automation. The role involves developing and implementing digitalisation software to improve customer support processes. The successful candidate will translate functional requirements into high-quality technical solutions within an Agile environment.

• Develop and adapt applications in Java based on functional and business analyses.
• Translate business requirements into technical architecture and programming code.
• Perform Test Driven Development (TDD) and integrate code within an Agile environment.
• Document software components and evaluate the impact of potential technical changes.
• Execute quality assurance activities including writing test scenarios and solving testing issues.
• Propose optimal solutions for application improvements and achievement of project milestones.
• Support team development through active training and coaching of fellow team members.

• 5+ years of backend development using Java and Spring Framework.
• 5+ years of experience with MQ and IIB (ACE) in an IBM environment.
• 5+ years of experience with Web Services and Object Oriented programming.
• 5+ years of experience with development and design tools such as JIRA, SVN, and SPARX.
• Extensive experience in Quality Assurance, Software Testing, and Test Driven Development.
• Practical experience working with Agile methodologies.
• Master's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical experience.
• You bring strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work under limited supervision.
• You possess leadership skills and experience in coaching or training others.
• You are fluent in French or Dutch with a good proficiency level in the other language.
