Equipment Validation Engineer

Our client, a leading pharmaceutical organization, is seeking an Equipment Validation Engineer to ensure the reliable and compliant operation of production systems. The role focuses on managing validation documentation and testing for mechanical equipment within multidisciplinary engineering and production projects.

• Draft and maintain validation documentation for mechanical systems, including protocols, reports, and qualification plans.
• Execute validation testing across the full lifecycle, including DQ, FAT, IOQ, and PQ.
• Coordinate validation activities for assigned equipment scopes, including planning and supplier management.
• Ensure adherence to GMP regulations and internal quality standards throughout the validation lifecycle.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to optimize validation workflows.
• Report project progress and technical milestones proactively to relevant stakeholders.
• Support on-site equipment testing and follow-up depending on the specific project phase.

• You possess a Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Bioengineering, Civil Engineering, or a related scientific field.
• You have 3+ years of experience in equipment validation within a GMP-regulated pharmaceutical environment.
• You bring a strong understanding of GMP and Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
• You possess an analytical mindset with strong organizational and communication skills.
• You are fluent in Dutch and English.

• Experience with design qualification processes in large-scale engineering projects.
• Knowledge of validation management software such as Kneat.
