Functional Analyst – Banking Risk & Treasury Reporting

Our client, a leading financial institution, is seeking a professional to drive the functional design and analysis of their internal systems. The role focuses on supporting treasury and risk departments by ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and transparency across complex reporting processes.

• Perform the functional analysis of information systems and translate pre-study results into comprehensive functional designs.
• Collaborate with risk and treasury business teams to support testing processes for financial calculations and reporting.
• Investigate and resolve reconciliation discrepancies across different data sources and reporting layers using root-cause analysis.
• Develop and maintain data-related documentation including data lineage, dictionaries, metadata, and process workflows.
• Support system upgrades and enhancements from the development phase through to production.
• Analyze service requests to determine feasibility, technological requirements, and project time estimates.

• You have 5+ years of experience in functional design and analysis within the banking or insurance sector.
• You possess 5+ years of experience in data analysis and investigation using SQL and DQL.
• You bring hands-on experience with RiskPro or comparable risk reporting and calculation tools.
• You have a strong understanding of Liquidity Risk Management, IRRBB, and the valuation of financial instruments.
• You possess working knowledge of Qlik Sense for data visualization and reporting.
• You're familiar with Agile Methodologies and IT Security principles within software development.
• You're a proactive, analytical thinker with strong conceptual skills and attention to detail.
• You're a collaborative team player able to work autonomously in a result-oriented environment.
• You are fluent in English.

Nice to Haves

• Knowledge of Data Modeling methodologies for data warehouses and data marts.
• Experience with Jira and Confluence for project tracking and documentation.
