Senior Business Information Analyst – Power BI & Data Migration

Our client, a prominent organization in the environmental utility sector, is looking for a Senior Business Information Analyst to act as a strategic bridge between business operations and technical BI solutions. The role focuses on translating complex business needs into actionable technical briefings for data engineers while building advanced semantic models and dashboards. The professional will also play a key part in migrating reporting infrastructure from legacy systems to a modern Power BI environment.

• Translate business requirements into functional briefings for data engineers to support BI initiatives.
• Design and build dimensional data models to ensure performant dashboarding and analysis.
• Develop complex semantic models and interactive dashboards within the Power BI ecosystem.
• Manage the migration of reporting requirements from a legacy SAP BI environment to the new platform.
• Maintain existing datasets and support data analysts in utilizing universes for visualization.
• Ensure the delivery of accurate business insights within the enterprise BI layer.

• 8+ years of experience in business intelligence or information analysis.
• 5+ years of experience with Power BI, including DAX, data modeling, and visualization.
• 5+ years of experience in Dimensional Modeling and Data Warehouse concepts.
• 5+ years of experience in Data Visualization and reporting.
• Proficiency in SQL for data analysis and functional source mapping.
• You possess a strong analytical mindset and the ability to quickly master new business domains.
• You are fluent in Dutch.

Nice to Haves

• Experience with SAP BI, specifically as a universe designer.
• Experience within the Project Management business domain.
• Knowledge of English.
