Business Unit Manager - Litigation

Our client is a leading organization in the healthcare and insurance sector dedicated to providing high-quality, member-centered services. The role involves managing a specialized litigation unit, overseeing legal recovery files and steering the IT roadmap during a period of organizational transformation.

• Manage and coach the litigation team while overseeing daily production and legal follow-up.
• Steer the business unit IT roadmap and direct the development and roll-out of core case-management applications.
• Ensure the correct and timely handling of recourse and recovery files in compliance with NIHDI/RIZIV/INAMI regulations.
• Manage departmental budgets for legal, expertise, and bailiff costs while monitoring operational objectives.
• Provide strategic and tactical recommendations to management based on field analysis and operational insights.
• Facilitate the operational implementation of IT and organizational changes impacting the business unit.

• You have a Master's degree or equivalent level of expertise.
• You bring 5+ years of experience in people and process management within dynamic environments.
• You possess experience in change management and the delivery of business projects.
• You have a strong affinity with IT, including steering Product Owners and Business Analysts.
• You're analytical, proactive, and well-organized with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• You are fluent in French and Dutch with good working knowledge of English.
