Business Analyst – BPMN & UML

Our client, a prominent player in the European energy landscape, is looking for a professional to facilitate their mission of building sustainable and green infrastructure. The role involves acting as a key bridge between business stakeholders and IT teams to translate complex requirements into effective technical solutions and optimized processes.

• Analyze and model end-to-end business processes using structured BPMN methodologies to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
• Structure business concepts and represent data needs through information modeling and UML class diagrams.
• Elicit, clarify, and prioritize functional and non-functional requirements in close collaboration with Agile development teams.
• Collaborate with solution architects to design future-proof systems while safeguarding business architecture principles.
• Formulate and execute testing activities, including the creation of test cases and support for business acceptance testing.
• Produce structured documentation and provide guidance to stakeholders on maintaining high-quality documentation standards.

• Master’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 5+ years experience in business analysis and formal requirements documentation.
• You bring a strong understanding of business analysis methodologies such as BPMN, UML, and BABOK.
• You possess experience in information modeling and the structural representation of business concepts.
• You have strong analytical skills and the ability to break down complex situations into manageable components.
• You're proactive and solution-oriented with a constructive, critical approach to challenging assumptions.
• You are fluent in English with an excellent level of Dutch and/or French.

Nice to Haves

• Experience working in an Agile product environment.
• Knowledge of the Archimate framework.
