Safety Systems & Innovation Specialist

Our client, a leading life sciences organization, is seeking an experienced Safety Systems & Innovation Specialist to enhance computer systems supporting patient safety and pharmacovigilance. The role focuses on driving technology adoption and supporting system implementation across the safety portfolio through collaboration with internal experts and external suppliers.

• Evaluate safety processes and supporting systems from a tactical and strategic perspective.
• Drive analysis into technology solutions and coordinate pilot programs and results communication.
• Support incident investigation, assessment, prioritization, and solution design.
• Collaborate with IT and external suppliers to implement technology solutions as a business systems specialist.
• Develop business-oriented validation deliverables including URS, data flows, and data integrity risk assessments.
• Manage UAT execution and prepare system release notes and stakeholder communications.

• You have 5+ years of experience in safety systems support and a broad knowledge of pharmacovigilance practices.
• You possess experience with Computer System Validation (CSV), including URS, UAT, and data integrity.
• You bring knowledge of safety databases, signal detection systems, and process automation tools.
• You're able to work independently to define priorities and communicate effectively with stakeholders across functional boundaries.
• You possess strong critical thinking skills to investigate solutions and define complex problems.
• You are fluent in English.

Nice to Haves

• Experience with GAMP5 or 21 CFR Part 11.
• Familiarity with literature screening or safety agreement databases.
