Technical Analyst – SQL & UML

Our client, a prominent organization in the insurance sector, is seeking a professional to join their digital transformation office. The role involves bridging the gap between business requirements and technical development for life insurance systems within an agile environment. This position focuses on documenting reliable solutions and ensuring application continuity for a variety of process optimization projects.

• Translate functional requirements and architectural visions into detailed technical specifications for life insurance applications.
• Document and design robust solutions to facilitate communication between internal business clients and development teams.
• Monitor and support existing applications to ensure business continuity and system stability.
• Propose technical improvements and solutions for new platforms, including employee benefits and reporting systems.
• Collaborate effectively within an agile team consisting of developers, product owners, and scrum masters.
• Support the integration of output management systems and ensure compliance with transparency legislation.

• 3+ years of experience as a technical analyst within an ICT environment.
• You possess expertise in technical modeling and documentation using UML and Enterprise Architect.
• You bring proficiency in data and integration tools including SQL, XML Spy, and Git.
• You have experience working with Azure DevOps and TFS for project management and version control.
• You possess a Bachelor’s degree in a technical or ICT-related field.
• You’re experienced in working within Agile methodologies.
• You have experience using collaboration tools such as SharePoint and Confluence.
• You’re a self-starter with a pragmatic approach and a strong sense of responsibility.
• You are a proactive team player with the ability to work independently.
• You are fluent in Dutch with a very good knowledge of English.

Nice to Haves

• Knowledge of life insurance processes or experience within the financial services industry.
• Professional experience with insurance-specific systems and regulatory reporting.
