Business & Functional Analyst – CMS Migration & Digital Platforms

Our client, a leading organization in the energy sector, is looking for a Business and Functional Analyst to support a major website migration initiative. This role involves analyzing business requirements and ensuring a smooth transition to a new platform while collaborating with cross-functional digital teams.

• Elicit and refine business, functional, and non-functional requirements through active stakeholder engagement.
• Translate stakeholder needs into detailed product backlog items, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers and technical teams to bridge the gap between business objectives and technical implementation.
• Identify gaps and opportunities for improvement during the migration to the new platform.
• Support quality assurance by defining test cases and facilitating User Acceptance Testing to validate project requirements.
• Provide training and support to key users and service desk teams during the post-launch and hypercare phases.

• Proven experience in business and functional analysis specifically for digital projects or website migrations.
• Strong knowledge of CMS platforms, web technologies, and SEO principles.
• Expertise in Agile methodologies and tools such as DevOps and Confluence.
• You have a Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, or a related field.
• You possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured approach to documentation.
• You're comfortable navigating ambiguity and focusing on end-to-end solution delivery.
• You are fluent in English with a good level of Dutch and/or French.

Nice to Haves

• Experience with data migration and content management systems.
• Knowledge of usability and web accessibility standards.
• Good level of German.
