Functional Analyst – Digital Transport Solutions

Our client, a leading organization in the transportation sector, is seeking an experienced Functional Analyst to join their transport execution management domain. The role focuses on optimizing business processes and delivering innovative IT solutions for workforce planning and mobile applications within a cloud-based ecosystem.

• Facilitate workshops and requirement elicitation sessions with stakeholders to prioritize business needs.
• Analyze and streamline business processes to enhance organizational efficiency and effectiveness.
• Translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications and API documentation using Swagger.
• Create and review sequence diagrams and BPMN models to validate system interactions and integrations.
• Collaborate with architects and development teams to ensure technical solutions align with organizational goals.
• Support quality assurance processes by defining acceptance criteria and coordinating user acceptance testing.

• You have 5+ years of experience as a Functional or Business Analyst.
• You possess proven expertise with the Azure platform and cloud-native environments.
• You bring advanced skills in SQL, JSON, Cosmos DB, and data structure modeling.
• You're experienced in designing RESTful services and defining API specifications using Swagger.
• You have proficiency in business process modeling using BPMN, UML, or sequence diagrams.
• You bring strong experience with Jira and Confluence for project documentation and collaboration.
• You possess knowledge of Agile frameworks, specifically Scrum or SAFe.
• You're proactive and solution-oriented with strong stakeholder management and conflict resolution skills.
• You have a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Business Science, or Engineering.
• You are fluent in English with C2 level in either French or Dutch and B1 level in the other.

Nice to Haves

• Basic knowledge of UI/UX design and frontend integration concepts.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks such as Selenium or NUnit.
• Prior experience within the public transportation industry.
• Formal training or certification in functional analysis.
